Create Task with Drafts Notes shortcut

Use Apple Shortcuts to automatically create a Things to-do and a Drafts note with links back to each other.

This shortcut creates both a task in Things and a note in Drafts with backlinks in each to jump between them. This allows you to collect more extensive notes for a project in the Drafts note without cluttering up Things. You can optionally save the task as a project in Things instead of a to-do.

You’ll be asked if you want to continue adding more details in Things or Drafts, or save it as-is.
