Essentially Nothing

Jon Porter, writing for The Verge:

Pei has always been clear that he expects Nothing to expand into more product categories over time. In anĀ interview withĀ The Verge last January, Pei said that the plan was to eventually offer an ecosystem of different devices, and the following month, Nothing bought theĀ rights to the Essential brand, which released aĀ single Android smartphone in 2017 before shutting downĀ less than three years later. Last November, a company executive in India said Nothing hadĀ five new products in development.

So we could be seeing an ā€˜Essentially Nothingā€™ phone soon? They started with a strong, intrigue-building brand; I commend them for that. Based on the positive reception of the Ear 1 and Carl Peiā€™s track record, Iā€™d say Nothing is one to keep an eye on.

UPDATE: Not 10 minutes after I posted this,Ā The VergeĀ published a leakĀ that supposedly shows Nothingā€™s upcoming phone in the wild.
