Schedule Work Shifts shortcut

Use Apple Shortcuts to easily add your weekly work shifts to your calendar on particular days of the week.

You have the same event that needs to be added to your calendar over and over again, just on different days of the week. This shortcut lets you choose the start of the week and which days the events need to be scheduled on. It uses some date math to schedule them all at once with the right details, on the right calendar.

It should help you to keep consistent with the title, location, and other event details, with fewer opportunities for error.

Note that it’s set up to use Monday as the start of the week (as is proper and good πŸ˜‰).

The origin and methodology of this shortcut are documented in this blog post.
